Donations
Who can donate to the MTTS Trust?
As per Government of India regulations, donations can be accepted only from Indian citizens. Anonymous donations cannot be accepted — we need minimal details (name, contact address, donation amount and mode of transfer) to acknowledge your support and comply with statutory requirements.
What modes of payment are accepted for donations?
You can donate via Internet Banking, UPI, or a crossed Cheque/Demand Draft (DD). Account and UPI details are listed on the Donations page.
Is my donation eligible for tax deduction?
Contributions to the MTTS Trust are eligible for a 100% tax deduction under Section 80G(5)(vi) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, provided you file your income tax returns under the old tax regime. PAN is mandatory to claim the deduction — if you do not have a PAN, you may leave that field blank in the form, but you will not be able to claim the deduction.
How do I submit a donation receipt request?
After making your donation using any of the accepted modes, click "Donation details submission form" on the Donations page and fill in your contact details, transaction details, purpose of donation, and (optionally) PAN and statistical details. You may also choose whether to allow your name to be listed publicly among donors.
How do I track my donation request or get my receipt?
Go to Donations > My Donations to see all your submissions and their status (draft, submitted, verified, approved, or rejected). A rejected request shows the reason and can be corrected and resubmitted. Once approved, the official acknowledgement receipt becomes available for download.
